Safari Highlights

 DAY 1 – ARUSHA - ARUSHA NATIONAL  PARK
Only in Arusha Park you can go walking in the jungle and enjoy wildlife closely.
Pick up in the morning from the hotel and drive to Arusha national park. In the park you will do a  walking Safari.   The walking Safari is assisted by an armed ranger and you will be able to see a variety of wildlife closer. Lunch is picnic at Jikukumia waterfalls. After lunch walk back to the gate and get into the jeep for game driving in the park visiting the 7 Momella lakes and Ngurdoto Crater. later on drive to your overnight hotel.  Dinner and overnight:  Outpost  Lodge.

 DAY 2 - ARUSHA  - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Drive to Tarangire national park for game drive till lunchtime.   Lunch is picnic in the park. After lunch more game drive till SUNSET. Tarangire is famous for the big herds of elephants and huge baobab trees. Lots of birds, flora and fauna.Dinner and overnight; Tarangire Safari Lodge. 

 DAY 3 – TARANGIRE PARK  –  NDUTU PLAIN AREA.

Breakfast, drive to Ndutu plains via the famous Ngorongoro crater.  You’ll stop briefly on one of the viewpoints on the rim of the crater to enjoy the magic views of the crater.  Drive on to Ndutu area.  We expect the wildebeest migration to be in this area from mid DEC to MAY.Dinner and overnight; Ndutu  safari Lodge

 DAY 4 – NDUTU PLAIN AREA  – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

You will go out for SUNRISE game drive at 0630am followed by b/fast at 0800am. Then drive to Serengeti – seronera area with game drive en route followed by (picnic lunch).  SUNSET game drive will start at 0400pm.  

Dinner and overnight; Serengeti kati kati tented  Lodge.

 DAY 5 – SERENGETI  – SERENGETI –(Seronera area)

Full days in ‘discover Serengeti’ game drives.Serengeti is the first national park in Tanzania and is the most famous sanctuary in wildlife with a good reason, During migration  Zebra and,Wildbeest they can seen passing away across the Plain.In Fabruary- March they consetrate at Ndutu and Salei Plain. It will be the special   day for you to see the herds of the big cats – cheetahs, leopards and lions. Mostly you will go out for SUNRISE game drive at 0630am followed by b/fast at 0800am. More game drive till Lunch time (Hot lunch). Rest. SUNSET game drives will start at 0300pm when it starts to cool down. Dinner and overnights; Serengeti kati kati  tented  Lodge

 DAY 6 – SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CRATER

B/fast, then drive to Ngorongoro crater with game drives en-route.  Short stop by the Olduvai Gorge (optional) – a famous Historical site for a visit. A resident Anthropologist will give a lecture about Human evolution and life at Olduvai Gorge – 20milion years ago.Dinner and overnight;  Rhino lodge  

 DAY 7 – NGORONGORO CRATER   –   ARUSHA

B/fast, descend into the crater for game drives in the crater.  The crater is well known for the rare  black Rhinoceros.  (picnic lunch) followed by more game drives later on ascend to the rim and drive back to Arusha.

Dinner and overnight;  hotel of your choice – not included in the price

 ITINERARY: BEST FOR DECEMBER TO MAY.

 

The price inclusive of; Full board Accommodation  in the lodges/Campsite as indicated in the itinerary,  All park entry fees, Safari vehicles  4WD, safari driver/guide, 3Meals a day, 1 bottled drinking water per person per day.All camping gears if wilderness camping!

EXTRAS not included will be; hotel before and after safari in Arusha, items of personal nature, Visa and transit visas, Personal travel insurance, Tips to the driver/guide – customary the driver gets US$ 15 a day,

 SAFARI NOTES:

Transport while on Safari:- On this Safari we’ll provide 2special Safari Jeep - Land Rover 110 Tdi 4WD or Landcruizer 4WD.   The vehicles are fitted with a pop - up roof for game viewing and photographing.  

You will have at least 5hour of game drives every day.    The driver is also the guide by qualifications.   He is knowledgeable in flora and fauna.

Suggested Parking list;- Non-synthetic comfortable fitting clothes (neutral colors and wrinkle free preferred);   2-3 long sleeves shirts and 2short sleeves shirts, shorts and long trousers, 1safari vest with several pockets, 1safari hat - pack able (wide rimmed for sun protection), jersey or safari jacket for evenings, several pairs of socks.

Others;- Safari binoculars (kindly bring your own), Light weight safari shoes or trainers, sandals, sunglasses, sun creams, insect repellent creams, a light weight first aid kit, day pack for your cameras, rucksack for your safari gears and clothes.
