Tanzania Adventure

DAY 1: ARUSHA - ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK.

Only in Arusha Park you can go walking in the jungle and enjoy wildlife closely.
Pick up in the morning from your overnight hotel then drive to Arusha national park. In the park you will do a walking Tour.   The walking Tour is assisted by an armed ranger and you will be able to see a variety of wildlife closer. This is a national park so expect to see many animal very close by you but you should not afraid as the guided armed ranger will be with you all the time. Lunch is picnic at Jikukumia waterfalls. After lunch walk back to the gate and get into the jeep for game driving in the park visiting the 7 Momella lakes and Ngurdoto Crater. Later in the evening drive to Planet lodge.

DAY 2: ARUSHA -   TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.

Early breakfast at 7:20 Am then pack your luggage’s ready for your Trip briefing with your guide at 7:45Am before you leave Arusha Town at 8:00am and drive to Tarangire park by Land Rover/Land cruiser, crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth largest and one of its most diverse. Stop at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the parks registration book e. Full day game drive in the park enjoying viewing animals in the park.  Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000 foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. 

Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines.  You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.  Late this afternoon you’ll arrive at your lodge where you can settle in and relax before dinner and your first night in the bush.

DAY 3:  TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - SERENGETI PARK.

Rise early today.  As the cool, fresh air fills your lungs you’ll feel invigorated and rejuvenated, ready for another great day on safari. Departing after breakfast for the Serengeti, you will make your way around the southern edge of the crater rim, spotting the occasional hyena, elephant or African buffalo along the way. 

By late morning, you will arrive at famed Serengeti National Park.  The plains seem endless from this vantage point. Stop to enjoy your picnic lunch at Naabi Hill before meandering through the wildlife-rich central Serengeti for afternoon to sunset game drive. In the evening you will be joining folks in the camp dining area for some palate teasers in anticipation of a scrumptious meal this evening.  Afterwards gather round the campfire before heading off to bed.  Relax in your comfortable surroundings tonight as you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the Serengeti plains.Dinner and overnight at Serengeti sopa  lodge.

DAY 4:  SERENGETI PARK – LOBO NORTH SERENGETI PARK.

This morning you’ll awaken instead to the calls of the African dove or superb starling.  From the comfort of your lodge you’ll smell the luscious scents of hot tea and fresh coffee beckoning you to greet the dawn; the majesty of the Serengeti waits!  As you sit comfortably on your camp, sipping hot drinks and watching the day break, you may even spot giraffe or zebra grazing in the distance.  After breakfast you will begin your quest to discover abundant and fascinating animal behavior in the park.

This morning you’ll continue your wildlife viewing for the rest of the day, stopping to enjoy a picnic lunch at your leisure.  Another full days ‘discover Serengeti’ game drives. The day for the big cats – cheetahs, leopards and lions. Upon your return to camp this evening you can relax in the tranquility of your room  as you reflect on today’s activities; your exploration of the heart of the park has been both informative and adventurous and you’ll relish each moment in your unique surrounds.  Few travelers ever have the privilege of seeing, “the world as it was in the beginning.”  Under your dining area, hot soup, fresh bread, entrees and a scrumptious dessert await your evening indulgence. In the evening drive to Lobo northern Serengeti park area for dinner and overnight after a full and satisfying day. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti sopa lodge.

DAY 5:  LOBO NORTH SERENGETI PARK – CENTRAL SERENGETI PARK.

Go out early for sunrise game drive searching for wildebeests migrations.You will be spending your full day game drive before you drive to the seronera(central Serengeti park) for diner and overnight at Serengeti sopa lodge.

DAY 6:  SERENGETI PARK – NGORONGORO NDUTU AREA.

Early breakfast then drive to Ndutu area for a full day game drive. Ndutu area is an area within Ngorongoro area with Ndutu area is with amazing landscapes and great wildlife’s scenery. This area is among the best site as it’s not crowded and you are allowed to drive off roads while on game drive. Migration of wildebeests spend time here from late December to April whereby some of the groups move to seronera  and some move to western corridor (kirawira and mbalageti river area).Big cats are easier seen here. In the evening drive to Ndutu lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: NGORONGORO NDUTU AREA   – NGORONGORO CRATER RIM.

Early breakfast before you drive out for sunrise game drive in the ndutu plains. Sunrise game drive starts at 6:00am to 10:00am whereby you will have a short break for your brunch (lunch and breakfast kept together).After your brunch you will drive to the ngorongoro crater rim with game drive en-route.Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro sopa lodge.

DAY 8:  NGORONGORO CRATER FLOOR   – ARUSHA.

Rise early for breakfast before you spend a fully day exploring the crater floor.  The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo and Black Rhino.  To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot.

Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water or east prey. In the evening descend out of the crater and drive to Arusha town/JRO to catch your flight back home.

Transport while on Safari: - We’ll provide 1 special Safari Jeep – Land cruiser 4WD.  The vehicles are fitted with a pop – up roof for game viewing and photographing. 

Other things to bring with your safaris;-  Light weight safari shoes or trainers, sandals, sunglasses, sun creams, insect repellent creams, a light weight first aid kit, day pack for your cameras, rucksack for your safari gears and clothes.
